My only regret is that I didn't get to ride the
skidoo when we visited Joseph's godparents on New Years Eve. I have always wanted to ride a
skidoo but I stayed in the house nursing Isaac. And eating potato chips. The second action probably entirely negated the effects of the first.

That's Frank, Joseph's godfather. His godmother was eating chips with me.

Being pulled by a
skidoo while riding a GT. Nothing spells fun like that combination.

As you can tell by the outdoor rink, the weather was well above freezing point.

Do you remember Rachel who helped me out for a week in the summer when Dave was marking standardised tests in the big city? There she is holding the baby that she had only met in-
utero.

I am quite certain that that is dear Anne-Marie Doyle's sister: if not, I am a truly confused man, who begs for this comment to be erased. Spitting image.
Eating chips is better than anything that can be done outdoors.
Jumping in here, since Elena is probably busy with Isaac and I am just sitting here mourning the fact that Bethany returns to the Academy tomorrow.
Yes, Rachel is the lovely Anne-Marie's sister :).
Great pictures Elena!
Colin - I second your chip comment, though my scale is none too happy about it after my holiday indiscreions.
About Hannah's boots- are those 3 season rubber boots? We bought all the girls "Bogs" boots this year and I have to admit it they are worth it in style and function. Now all I need is some for myself!
Happy New Year from the Emmons family! Tracy
Sue, Thanks!
Colin, Thank God I don't buy chips are all the running would be for naught.
Tracy, Those are 3-season boots but not Bogs. They are Kamiks and we bought them for 29.99 at Afelskies' Shoes. The boys also have them. they are the greatest thing since sliced bread - rated at -32 degrees, totally waterproof and the liner can be pulled out. dave has had them for ages but Kamik only just started making them for kids.
I saw you out running the other day - looking very serious. I am going out every second day -seems to be working... chips keeping everything in balance.
As Piglet would say "oh d-d-d-deaaar." I have a wicked craving for chips now, and I also happen to know we have chip dip in our fridge. Alas, Patrick JUST came home from the store but he is too practical and healthy to have bought any chips.
