No news

I really thought that I would have something of consequence to report this morning; but, alas, nothing. I went to bed feeling like this baby's birth was imminent but the only pain I woke up to was sciatic. Ouch. Double ouch. Only getting worse.

There is a lady at church (the one I told you about yesterday whose kids all have awful names & she didn't pick them) who has a theory that our "gestational period" is remarkably consistent from baby to baby. (She was telling me about her daughter-in-law who always goes 6 days late.) Since the twins don't count due to the induction, perhaps Ben was the outlier and your gestational period is four days late. Or perhaps I am grasping at straws. Regardless, I bet there will be a baby very soon. He is just waiting for your doctor to go on vacation. (This is one of the few advantages of always having c-sections. I know months ahead when the baby will be born.)

You know what? Ben had two due dates: May 6th and May 13th and he was born on the 9th; so, perhaps he was actually 3 days late.

I keep checking every day...I hope you're getting lots of rest with your mama around to help!

According to my research ...
The full moon just past on Aug 24, so you liekly not delivery until the next full moon which is September 24. 17:06:00. I know it may seem daunting to go that long, but if you anticipate, it will just seem longer.

Cary, I think my uncontrollable laughter (caused by your comment) might do the trick. Your comment was exactly the pick-me-up I needed today. Thank you.

Holy Smokes, Batman. I just re-read my comment. That makes it seem like I am four years old. Obviously, in the excitement of having something very witty to say I lost all sense of grammar, punctuation and pretty much all communication skills. Ahh, who am I kidding, you've read things that I have posted before that don't make any sense at all.So much for a degree in English. I should have taken a BA in spanish (history).

BTW, one last thing ... I have used ketchup chips three times in the last six months to send ladies to the delivery room. Old dutch ketchup, one large bag and that kid will be outta there.
