3 days

That baby widget is wrong, very wrong. I am currently three days overdue and trying not to become frustrated. My father leaves tomorrow bright and early and unless something happens pronto the chances that he will meet his newest grandson have become quite slim. Living far from one's family is difficult. Enough said.

Well, at worst -- AT WORST -- you have four days left. (and I'm guessing that after four more days an induction wouldn't seem like the worst thing ever. But maybe you will be like my friend who was going to the hospital to be induced and spontaneously went into labour on the way. seriously.)

actually, i bet he comes this weekend. tomorrow, so his birthdate matches Joe's.

And if it makes you feel any better, dad didn't meet Rhett until he was 14 months old.

I also hate being away from family, whether it be the big events (birth of a child counts), or just the little things.
I hope this baby cooperates soon.

I'm glad you are posting these updates so we don't have to phone you and annoy you.
Everything's going to be great!

Here, here Elena - just thought I would validate every emotion I read those 5 sentences. Being in your shoes just 5 short months ago, I say I hear you sista loud and clear. Sending our thoughts and prayer. It sucks living so far from friends too:(

Love Sandy

My first three babes were 6 days overdue, so due dates mean very little to me. Try to relax and enjoy these last few days with baby in utero because you just can't do much else to make things happen (though I do have a few tricks from the midwives if you want me to e-mail them to you).

Still praying for you, still thinking of you and wondering if there is anything you need? Sending love, my friend!

Oh Elena, the discomfort you're likely feeling isn't that far from my memory, and I wasn't even overdue (or looking after other kids, for that matter!). I say, put Dave and Julie to work doing... well, everything, and you sit and read a novel of choice. And maybe take a bath.

We're praying for you! This is VERY exciting! (Babywatch 2010!)
