Motherly Mistakes

I really thought that this said, "Gone to the Ark" when I found it. Of course, my ego swelled with pride as I imagined the flood narrative that surely our three oldest had been playing out during quiet time. Mistakenly, I asked Jacob who was meant to read the note.
"What note?" he asked.
"The "Gone to the Ark" note."
"The Gospel of Mark?"
"No, Gone to the Ark."
"No, mom, that says, Gone to the park - I thought that we might go there when Joseph wakes up."
"Oh."
