Hannah's Musings

Hannah always has interesting things to say when we go on walks. I am quite thankful for this as endless games of eye-spy in a Canadian winter just don't cut it: "I spy with my little eye something that is white, brown or grey." So, here is today's offerings from my little girl.
1. While watching Jacob slide along a patch of ice: Giggle, giggle, "Here's Jacob, Mom. He's funny."
"You like your brother; don't you, Hannah?"
"Yup."
"Why?"
"He's silly."
"What else do you like about him?" (Hoping for some depth.)
"I don't know yet." (Judgement reserved until further notice.)
2. "Hannah, do you remember being in my tummy with Jacob?"
"Nope. But I sure am glad that I'm outta there. Jacob was crowdin' me."

We used to ask Isaiah a similar question, "Do you remember being in mommy's tummy?" And never had quite as good an answer (usually just a blank stare). But about a year ago Isaiah heard a noise maker that plays a recording of the sound of a placenta (heart beat noise). He was so interested in it so Jordan asked "What is that Isaiah?" And after a few "THAT" with pointing, he finally said, "So, so NICE" "mm hmm what is that Isaiah?" "So so so Awesome!" "hmm what is that Isaiah?" "So so so WARM!" :o)
