I have been postless for a total of 9 days now. This is partly due to relatives visiting over the Christmas break, Dave being on holiday from school and a cold/flu making its way through our home. However, it's also because I am slightly uninspired when it comes to blogging. In fact, I feel like quitting the whole thing but something keeps telling me to hang on. What do you think?

I'd say blogging shouldn't be a chore, so if you aren't feeling like doing it, then don't!
But if you enjoy it, keep it up!
I agree. I blog when I have stuff to say and no one to say it too. Its kind of a vent for me. If it was a chore I would never keep up with it.

you should not quit blogging but if for some reason you are feeling uninspired why don't you take a hiatus for a month or two?
I would sure miss reading your blog Elena! I totally understand your sentiments though, which is why I never could keep up a blog. However, for some reason you have been able to and it has been a real blessing for me. Take a break if you need it... or if you feel done with blogging maybe it is time to give it up. Sniff sniff.
Elena, I love your blog. It's one of the highlights of my days to read it. I understand completely though. I am wondering what the point is for my blog these days too, and I am annoyed by it every time I attempt to write something.
But if you're looking for a reason to blog, I don't know if my entertainment and satisfaction should be the reason (but I'd be thrilled if you DID consider it a reason).
Love your blog too, of course! And even though I hear half these stories talking with you, and even though we only live across town, it is definately a fun way to connect. You can always blog in photos if you don't feel you have much to say...or just take a break and come back when you feel the inspiration again!
I hate to add pressure....ok, no i don't but if you stop blogging what will Sr.I and I I talk about (that was funny.I,I and I ) so, take a break if you must but your gift of writing won't let you keep away i bet ;)
