The Annunciation of Matthew John to Mariana Elizabeth Afelskie. Hannah was able to convince Grandpa Nick to give her his very good camera. So Hannah photographed Matthew and the rest of the kids holding him on his first day home.

Ahhh be still my heart! Such BEAUTIFUL photos! Welcome sweet boy! My favourite is you looking so glowing and peaceful with him in his sling looking up at the sky. I always love when babies get transfixed by something up above; I imagine they are seeing angels. Also, the one where it's Matthew and Mariana up close. She looks so excited and sweet. How lovely to be a big sister when only 2 1/2.
Congratulations to everyone, once again.
I'm starting to see a little Miriam again in Mariana. The resemblance was certainly there as babies but then it seemed to fade for awhile.
