Sorry about that absence

Joseph turned 10 at the end of November and we managed one snapshot.  But, at least Dave remembered to tip the cake.  (Inside joke)
Just a lovely photo of our oldest daughter.
Dave and almost all of the kids demonstrating their armspans.  Dave could touch either lintel, but no one else could.  Since then Jacob has grown enough to be able to touch both sides.  Must stop feeding that boy.  Also, the vast majority of the fall and Christmas was spent with the walls of the kitchen, dining room and great room primed and painted in patches of test pots of paint.  You'll just have to wait for the big reveal.  Hopefully not another two months, though.
Three days before Christmas I turned 40.  It was good and peaceful.  Five days before, Dave planned a surprise potluck at a friend's house and, amazingly, took me quite by surprise.
Isaac trying to demonstrate the "comme ci, comme ca" nature of turning 40.
We eventually went with the bluey-grey to the left of the bookshelf.
The few Christmas photos weren't quite up to the hoped-for dazzle of a newly painted wall.  Everything in its own time.
This little one gave up napping and started wearing her sister's underwear.
She is very good at not napping; energetically so.

That second picture of Mariana (the one where Isaac is giving the thumbs down) startled me! She looks so grown up and preschooler-ish, not a wee toddler anymore. (Evidence that is has truly been ages since I last saw you.)
