None of these photos are of the greatest quality, but they all capture aspects of everyday life in our family. That's why I love them. I think of the above photo as the monkey shot because Mariana reminds me of a little baby monkey riding happily on her mother's back. Hannah was playing Scrabble with my mom and siblings when Mariana decided that she would be happy enough to perch on Hannah's back and watch the game from there. (This was much better than Mariana's usual attempt to sit on the table and physically disrupt the game. Board games are not easy around here.)
Sarah is very tall for her age, so we decided to let her try on Hannah's First Communion gown to see how it fit. Hannah was 8 when she wore this dress and Sarah has yet to turn 5. While it is still a little long, I think that we may have to sew a different gown when Sarah's First Communion comes around.
I think that Jacob took this photo and added a filter to it. Hannah saw it and immediately exclaimed, "I actually look like Mom!" I was happy to hear that she was pleased with a resemblance.
Mariana very happy with her first spring dress.
She reminds me so much of my sister Rebecca's daughter Miriam in this photo.
Isaac just being Isaac. While he can pout with the best of them, he is also a very joyful little guy, crooked smile and all.
These are action shots that I captured through the window. The boys regularly "fight". This time they chose to wear protective gear.
Raising boys is very much like raising puppies. I'll leave it at that.

Oh they're all lovely pictures! My favourite is Mariana sitting in the floor beaming in her dress.
