Sometime the relatives need photos

Our two blondies.  Isaac's hair colour matches Sammy's fur exactly:  strange determination of genetic code.
Rebecca, just in case you don't recognise me when I arrive in Texas - I have curly/wavy hair, at times. At times is determined by the use of hair product.  I hate hair products, but I now concede that the right product really does work now that my hair is a frizzy mess after the hair-altering hormones of five pregnancies.
Happy brothers.  Ben is now missing both front teeth.  As a friend of mine remarked at mass, "Must be time for First Communion; he can no longer bite the priest."  Strange but true, Ben is due up for his next round of sacraments come the spring.
 Happy siblings.
WHWS:  What Hannah Wore on Sunday.  Who is growing up on me?  A friend of mine bought this hat for herself but it proved too small so she passed it on to Hannah.  My mom bought Hannah this dress a few Christmases ago and the boots were 12 bucks at Value Village despite being leather and made in Romania (which just seems better than being made somewhere on the Pacific Rim).  Yes, Dad, they are vampire boots.
WSWS:  Sarah wearing her first skirt that Hannah wore when she was three!  Someone is on a slightly different growth curve than her sister.  Once we got to mass I noticed that Sarah had poured her entire breakfast smoothie down her left side, lovely sprays of wet dairy products.
No, not 2 years old, only almost 18 months.
WIWS:  didn't you know about my permanently turned in knee?  What a pose, a pose that says, "I am trying to look smaller than I really am."  Time for photoshop.  The shirt is from a store in Lunenburg, NS and it has the most awkward drape which probably accounts for its sale tag.  The pants are from the GAP and really belong in the summer.  The boots are Eddie Bauer and improve any outfit.  The cowl is one that I made last year which makes it sound like I have knit dozens; rather, it is one of two that I have ever knit in my entire life, lest you think that I make anything other than supper and babies.  Happy Feast of Christ the King.

How do you manage to look so great after the week from Antibiotic and Vaccination Hell?

Don't worry, by the way, I didn't breathe a word to Jenny McCarthy about the incident.

Loved Hannah's outfit. I don't know what it says about me that I want the same one... and I'm 20 years older than her.

What a fun post! I'll have to show it to M, our perpetual fashionista. She'll love Hannah's hat! I feel very honoured right now knowing the other cowl you've knitted was gifted to me! I get compliments on it often!

Please identify this hair product, stat. You're so pretty! (And you're so lucky that your natural hair colour is actually a real colour and not some washed out dishwater blonde that needs constant attention.)

Hannah looks awesome. Emeline and Clara are dying for a visit from her and Jacob, by the way. Hint, hint. I am SO EXCITED to see you in just over a month!!

Hair product is frizz-Ease by John Frieda, extra strength formula. The bottle is small and you will think that it will never last but it goes a long, long way. It was recommended to me by a friend with curly hair and it really, really works.

The resemblance between you and Rebecca comes out when I put your latest photos side by side. Same chin, something about the eyes is the same too.

I love the fact that the time for sacraments is known by the absence of teeth... very theological.. I will try to include that in a paper I write for theology some time!!

I just don't get the turned in feet thing, sorry. I know you in real life, and you don't stand like that!

ok so first of all, your kids are delightful :) Also, how the heck do you continue to look all fun, and young, and glowy? That is the look that I want to rock...yet mainly I rock the haggard teenager. Help?

Also...the saint calendar in the background....you have one...jenna craine has one...my husband is in love with it. It will be shortly after never when I manage to get enough follow through to make one. Who in Barry's Bay do I need to promise delicious care packages and/or cash to in order to get my hands on one? It would seriously give Andrew the biggest thrill. Even more so than if I get him a combat rosary - and that is saying something, cause that man loooooves the combat rosary. He got one for our Godson's baptism and nearly wouldn't give it up :P

Sorcha, If you are reading this, first off, thank you; second off, re. the saint calendar - there is a woman here who makes them and they cost around 200 bucks. But, and here is the big but, when I bought ours five years ago, she told me that it was the last one she had and the last one that she was going to make. So, i don't know what to tell you. Jenna has better contact with this lady, so you could try Jenna. Nevertheless, it was good to hear from you and I have to go and look up combat rosary!
