Finally, Pictures

I finally found a way to import our photos to our computer without the aid of the lost cord.  So, here are some pictures of daily life, Hallowe'en and Hannah at the cross-country race.  On another note, we had our first ultrasound yesterday.  Dave was able to come which made me very happy as I find ultrasounds a little nerve-wracking.  The tech at our hospital tends toward silence and the only information that she conveys is via her facial expressions.  Consequently, I stare at a light in the ceiling and avoid looking at her entirely.  I thought that Dave's presence might lighten the tone of the ultrasound; nevertheless, he wasn't invited in until the very end so I had to bear the tech's silence alone, and with a lot of Hail Mary's.  The only concrete information that we have concerning this new babe is that he or she is a singleton.  In my mother's words, "Big phew!".  Or as my older sister said, "I think that one set of twins is enough."  Or, in Dave's words, "I get my Toyota Sienna."  We all approach such news differently.
 Isaac amid destruction.
Joseph likes to kiss and squeeze Isaac's hand whenever he passes by.  Jacob did the exact same thing with both Benjamin and Joseph.
 What's bedtime without a gun?
A particularly fetching photo of a boy who is growing up very fast.
 Ben as Spiderman.
Jacob as a mummy.  His costume became more and more unravelled as the evening progressed but the unravelling added to the overall effect.
Joseph as an evil penguin.  He insisted on the evil part.
Isaac in the requisite lamb costume.
 Isaac discovering Hallowe'en candy.
Just a normal scene.  Interpret as you will.
And because we couldn't forget her:  Hannah after her cross-country race.  She didn't want to go out for Hallowe'en and opted to stay home and hand out candy.  Her assistance was gratefully accepted by me as we had 167 kids at our door that night.

Jacob's costume is the greatest! and Isaac is one beautiful baby/toddler. I wonder what/who the next baby will look like.

You have such beautiful children. Hannah is really a lovely young lady. And the costumes are too cute. I am particularly fond of the Evil Penguin.

I cannot believe how big Isaac is now! Do we not live in the same town? How is it that we haven't seen each other in ages?

We have been attending the 8 am on Sundays more often than not so I feel a little out of the social loop of most of my girlfriends (not to imply you've been off socializing too much these days). But the kids are growing and beautiful and healthy. Any improvement in the all day pregnancy induced yuckiness? I still want to bring over a meal...but I'm finally doing that cleanse. I am making lots of soup...hmm. Scott said just bring over a random bag of fruit!

I have to say, I am a little disapointed by the lack of belly shot. I personally like an early pregnancy shot, that way we can watch it grow.... plus by baby three I was showing by this point, so I am guessing you might be as well. Don't you want to show the internet world your belly??? lol

Theresa, I think that any belly shot would be leftovers and lack of exercise! I will wait till nearer to 20 when I actually look pregnant.
Erin, There have been improvements and setbacks. My sinus infection didn't help anything. And, regarding mass, I have actually missed 2-3 times. I have never missed mass because of pregnancy before but I literally couldn't move and Dave put his foot down.
Jenna, I'm glad you like the evil penguin - the addition of evil was a last minute effort to convince Joseph to keep his makeup on and not try to wear a superman cape over street clothes.

Spiderman sacred me - but the angry penguin made it all better. Your kids are awesome.

Love your kids Elena, they are awesome. I also LOVE your posts they make me laugh out loud. We are super excited for you all and your new little one. Maybe one day we will catch up to you....I think that would take a set of twins though:) Your kids are so lucky - nothing better than a bunch of siblings!
