I don't think that I should have let the boys watch this. I am incredibly tempted to film their version complete with underwear and toy trucks off of which they are vaulting. I've never seen them so singularly inspired.
Wow! Please do post your boys' efforts. Having memories of two boys imitating the heroes of their day (complete with underwear and capes), I'd love to see what your guys do with this! Sadly, we've no video record of our sons' countless hours of imaginative play.
I had to laugh at Jenna's comment - Francis was into parcour when we were dating/engaged. I asked him to knock it off because I didn't want him on crutches at our wedding. But I have distinct memories of him running up the walls at the Marguerite Center at NET training. Oy. I'm glad marriage and 3 kids have mellowed him.
Please post your boys doing their version. I'm already freaked out at the prospect of what Simon will be like in a couple of years. You give me hope I may survive raising a little boy.
I will work on getting an OK version of the boys - I worry a little about putting them on the net in their underwear. Regarding raising little boys: THEY ARE AWESOME. They are so much fun; sure, lots of energy but so much incredible potential for good and for positive change in our world. If I can recommend any book it is Meg Meeker's Boys Should be Boys - excellent despite the typoes that reveal that it was rushed to press... She is so great at reinforcing that our expectations of teenage boys are all wrong (sex, video games etc.).

Wow...! I think if my brother-in-law (Francis) had more free time, he'd be doing this. He's into bouncing off walls.
