I guess that Benjamin did need his afternoon nap. That zizzing sound is indeed Ben snoring. And, sadly, they are back in snowsuits as winter returned enforce on Monday - one last Lenten scourge. Oh, and no, Ben is not wearing a backpack for school; he just insists on stuffing a pack with Jacob's trains and wearing it on all outings - another version of The Great Train Robbery.

Helen, I was going to write something about what the bus driver might think about a camera pointed her way. But then I thought, "Hey, maybe she thinks I'm filming the snow because it was such a surprise..." Also, I comforted myself by thinking that it's just a digital and she wouldn't have realised that I was filming. Oh well.
I just thought of another camera excuse: I don't record the first day of school, I record the 131st day of school (which it was; the gr.2 class for which I supplied has a countdown calendar).
