Begin the photo dump

By the end of the next few posts, you will be wishing that I had a camera other than the iPad and iPhone just as much as I am! The Christmas season never fails to bring my birthday around again:  38 this time.  Dave and I went out for supper and came home for cake.  In typical post-partem style (for me, at least) my skin reacted to something I ate (evidenced by the right side of my forehead).
I was very negligent over Christmas and neglected to take any photos of Christmas other than the few in this post.  The next two photos are proof that prayers are answered.
Every year I pray that we will not have snow until December.  This year I went big and asked for January.
Here is Christmas day in semi-northern Ontario.  Dave spent most of the day at the farm with his mom and I was alone with the kids until 3pm.  At 11am we were all getting a little squirrely and I announced that we were going on a walk to deliver gift to our two in-town godchildren.  The boys took their new swords and fought their way through five km.
 It was glorious.
Hannah and I have been watching youtube tutorials on hair, specifically on braiding hair.  This was the Christmas Eve hairdo.
I try to do Hannah's hair as much as possible.  She helps out our family so much that I try to repay her in small ways.  Plus, she's got great hair.
The kids' first cousins came over sometime after Christmas.  (I actually can't remember when!)  Isaac is helping Clara get her bearings on the stairs while Sarah helps out Chelsea.  You can see Isaac's Christmas sword.
Sarah's godfather carved four swords out of some cedar that we had in the garage.  We offered to pay him and he asked for prayers.  Awesome.
 Clara, our little redhead.
Chelsea, our goddaughter.  Amazingly we didn't catch that runny nose and have remained healthy for quite some time.  This is a tremendous blessing as we care for Dave's mother in her last days.  Stay tuned for baptismal photos.
